Cockfighting
As you know by now my wife and I are animal lovers and believe
they all have a right to live, here recently Cockfighting has become a
issue here in Ohio. It seems they are trying to pass a law that will make
it legal in Ohio.
I am posting this email that was
sent to me, on this website for all to read, with a link to what some are
trying to do without regard to the lives of the chickens that will be
wasted, for some peoples entertainment.
Maybe we should throw those people in a ring and let them fight to the death without a choice, like the chickens.

The following is the email about Issue 3 Cockfighting in Ohio but the one that makes this a killer is the link that takes you to the West Virginia Association for Gamecock. Some people only care about money!
ISSUE 3: COCKFIGHTING IN OHIO?
Under the Issue 3 constitutional amendment,
any casino games legal in the states surrounding Ohio are automatically legal
in Ohio. Issue 3 money man Dan Gilbert says Ohio's border states should
"dictate" what games we have in Ohio casinos.
Now there is a serious effort to legalize cockfighting in West Virginia casinos
(READ WV NEWS HERE: Cockfighting).
If Issue 3 passes, that would make cockfighting automatically legal in Ohio.
Cockfighting in Ohio? It's a bad idea. That's why animal lovers are voting NO
on Issue 3.

Animal fighting of any kind should be against the law, whether it Chickens, Pit bulls or anything else. They where put here by god for a reason and that reason was not for us to watch them die for entertainment. God put us in control over these animals and he expect us to use good sense.
I ask the fine people of West Virginia to take the stand along side of you senator that said; "That's just not happening. Not on my watch."

I also ask the people of Ohio not to let this happen in our fine state. Don't let others ideas be voted into laws in our state, that we know are not in good taste. Let us have the back bone to stand for our own beliefs.
If Casinos are going to bring these kinds of ideas to our state do we really need them here!
